The Chairman/CEO of Atakata Construction Limited, a subsidiary of Atakata Group of companies, Prince Ugochukwu Nnaji, says the level of the on-going infrastructural development under the administration of Enugu state Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is a blessing to the state.
Prince Nnaji who made this known in a chat with the media in Enugu at the weekend, described the positive turn around the state is experiencing as a timely revolution for the people of the state.
“We, the people of Enugu state have never seen this kind of infrastructural revolution that’s presently happening across the state in our very eyes. I can tell you for a fact that we have never had it this good”.
“Infact, I will say that His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, is prayer answered to Ndi Enugu. His giant strides in security architecture are next to none considering how the situation was before his emergence as the state governor”.
“Remember, we only had four working days in a week after we had given up hope of going to work on Monday. But, he came in with the determination to stop the ugly situation by following it up to provide every necessary facility to make sure that we recover Monday., and, today everybody is enjoying it through the sacrifices he made”.
While commending Governor Mbah’s two years success in office, the Atakata Construction boss spoke on the provision of portable water to the citizens of the state.
He added that before now the output capacity generation of water supply was one million litres a day, which has improved significantly.

“In the area of provision of water, Enugu state used to have a million litres per day before the coming of Mbah. But, his passion in keeping to the promises he made to Enugu people has saw him making bold steps in actualizing everything he promised during his electioneering campaign”.
“This quality has no doubt distinguished him from other politicians, both past and present. I remember vividly during his campaigns when he promised to make water available in his first 180 days in office. He delivered that promise excellently well because he was able to move the water supply capacity from one million litres to 120 million litres”.
Speaking further, Nnaji also raised his observation in the education sector. He thanked the governor for helping to change the status quo that had existed long before he took over.
“You know the governor is a man who is well traveled, and is always passionate about the ordinary man in Enugu. He looked at the educational sector and saw that there was a huge gap between the Western world and here in Africa, where only a very few privileged children can afford the best standard of education”.
“Therefore, he decided to embark on a huge gigantic project in education by building 250 SMART schools in every community”. “This has exposed our children to have access to artificial intelligence, robotics and megatronics, as a way of creating an enduring impact in the educational curriculum in the state”.
As part of efforts aimed at actualizing this ground breaking feat, Governor Mbah has already announced that all the SMART schools will be commencing activities by September this year.
Moreso, Nnaji heaped commendation on the governor in the area of health and road infrastructure.
“Let’s look at the health sector that he has not touched. Is it the 250 type-2 hospital projects in all the wards across the state? What about the road infrastructure spreading across all nooks and cranny? Is it Tourism he has not given attention? It’s amazing to see how he has transformed the dilapidated Presidential hotel that was vandalized to a new and sparkling edifice, or is it the completion of the International Conference Centre (ICC)?”

“There’s also the transportation sector that is witnessing an unprecedented growth following the building of new ultra-modern motor parks across the state. This is in addition to the buses that were recently imported to cater for transportation needs in the state”.
“Interestingly, few months ago the state government acquired two new aircrafts to facilitate ease in air travel”.
“Frankly speaking, I don’t think there’s any sector Governor Mbah has not impacted positively. Enugu people are blessed to have a man that’s selfless handling the affairs of the state at this point in time”, Nnaji concluded.
While marking his second year in office in May this year, Governor Peter Mbah assured the people of the state of his desire to ensure more projects are carried out to better the well-being of its people.
