Qatar has officially reopened its airspace following a temporary closure triggered by an Iranian missile strike on the Al Udeid Air Base, which hosts United States forces.
In a statement posted Tuesday on its verified X account, the Qatari General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the resumption of normal air traffic operations.
“The General Civil Aviation Authority announces the resumption of air traffic in the airspace of the State of Qatar and the return of the atmosphere to normal,” the statement read.

The missile strike was part of Iran’s retaliation against United States attacks on its nuclear facilities over the weekend, escalating regional tensions.
Al Udeid, one of the most strategically significant American military bases in the Middle East, was among the targets hit during the strike.
